Lapeer Community Schools Laps for LINKS 5K Run/Walk

Lapeer Community Schools LINKS 5K run/walk is to raise funds to support our district's LINKS program. "LINKS is an educational and humanistic student-to-student support system bolstering the quality of life, relationships and self esteem for students with autism." 5K Run & 5K Walk

Race Time

Day of the race registration begins at 8:00am
Registration ends 9:00am
5K run/walk will begin at 9:30am

Entry Fee

5K run/walk with tee-shirt $25.00
5K run/walk race only (no shirt) $15.00

Shirts are available in children sizes small, medium, and large. They are available in adult sizes small, medium, large and extra-large.

Awards

• Overall male & female
• First male & female in age groups 10 & under, 11-13, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up.
• Each winner will receive a winners t-shirt.

Registration

You can register online or download an entry form to mail from the Documents page. Registration will also be available during packet pick-up and on race day.

Packet Pick-up

Packet Pick-up for early registration will be at Maple Grove Elementary, Thursday and Friday April 19th and 20th from 4:00-7:00pm. Race day pick-up is 8:00am-9:00am.

Timing & Results

Race Services Company is the official timer for this event. They will be using ChronoTrack Systems, which utilizes the disposable B-tag. The tag is directly affixed to the back of the race number. No need to return a timing chip at the end of the race.
